Mission
The Atlanta-Athens Mass Spectrometry Discussion Group (AAMSDG) was established to provide a common discussion platform for the mass spectrometry (MS) community in Georgia. The core objective of AAMSDG is to disseminate knowledge involving the use of MS-based techniques and instrumentation. Current members include researchers from universities, industries, and government laboratories, as well as sales/technical representatives from industries. Throughout the year, AAMSDG organizes seminars with the opportunity of networking with the speaker and other MS users. Additionally, a summer symposium is held annually where graduate students and young scientists can participate in presenting their research. Details of these activities are posted on the event page. Membership and attendance at AAMSDG meetings are free of charge. Please direct your membership request and queries to Pritha Bagchi (pritha.bagchi@emory.edu).
